To marinate:
Procedure:
1. Mix all the ingredients given in "to marinate" section in a mixing bowl and marinate for 20 min in refrigerator.
- Onion - 2 medium sized finely chopped
- Tomato - 3 medium sized finely chopped
- Chicken stock - 2 cup
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander - to garnish
- Salt to taste
- Cinnamon , cardamom, cloves powder - 1 tsp
or
Cinnamon stick - ¼ inch piece
Cardamom - 2 piece
Cloves - 3 or 4
To marinate:
- Chicken - 250 gm - cleaned and cut into pieces
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
- Garam masala - 2 tsp
- Chili powder - 1 tsp
- Vinegar - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Procedure:
1. Mix all the ingredients given in "to marinate" section in a mixing bowl and marinate for 20 min in refrigerator.
2. Heat a large pan. pour oil. When its hot, add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves powder or as such. As nice aroma comes out, add onion and saute for few min. To this add ginger garlic paste. Saute them until the raw smell leaves.
3. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, mix them well. Then add tomatoes and marinated chicken. Saute them for 3 min. Chicken starts turning white.
4. Add chicken stock and bring it to boil. Adjust salt. Reduce flame and close the lid of the pan. Allow to cook for 15-20 min. Check whether chicken is soft and completely cooked. The gravy gets thickened. Garnish with cilantro.
